Wiren Board develops and manufactures electronics for the automation of engineering systems: industrial and commercial facilities, private homes and apartments. Customers include both professional integrators and smart home enthusiasts.

Wiren Board was founded in 2013. The owners of the company are people who know how to do tough engineering things themselves, and there is a lot to learn from them. The company has not strict hierarchy, the distance between top management and staff is minimal, and communication is exclusively on a first-name basis. Any employee can propose an idea at a general meeting. Employees are involved in the decision-making process.

There are more than 30 people in our engineering team. The work can be roughly divided into three big directions:

  • device circuitry;
  • software development and support for Linux;
  • software development and support for microcontrollers.

Our vacancies

Circuit engineer (electronics engineer)

1700 — 3000 €/month
We are looking for an electronic engineer to participate in the development of devices from concept to production, including board design, enclosures and firmware development. The candidate will work in close cooperation with the development and management team, participate in product testing in various conditions and preparation of technical documentation.
goals
  • assistance in developing new devices;
  • testing and trialing samples of electronic devices;
  • reproducing and solving technical problems of users;
  • participation in developing scripts for test benches (Python).
requirements
  • higher technical education.
  • experience in setting up production lines;
  • knowledge of Linux is a plus;
  • ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • knowledge of the basics of digital and analog circuitry;
  • basics of computer and computer network design;
  • English at the level of reading datasheets;
  • work experience of at least 3 years.

Embedded Developer

1500 — 2700 €/month
We are looking for a C and STM32 microcontroller programmer to join our team to develop firmware and system testing of devices. The candidate will work in a UNIX environment, using GCC and Make to build projects.
goals
  • development, refinement and support of firmware for our automation devices: sensors, relays, meters, dimmers. Almost all of our peripheral devices are built on STM32F0 microcontrollers. Firmware is written in C and compiled by gcc, most without OS.
requirements
  • excellent knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers (GD32, CH32, AT32), ability to use reference manual, configure peripherals via registers, know how they work;
  • good knowledge of Linux at the user level;
  • good knowledge of C, Make, GCC, Git build/link process;
  • ability to work with the git version control system, experience in team development, codeview;
  • good knowledge of electronics, digital circuitry;
  • understanding of how I2C, SPI, UART interfaces work at the physical and logical levels;
  • ability to work with a logic analyzer and oscilloscope;
  • ability to read other people's code, understanding the principles of good code (clean code, SOLID).
  • experience in automated testing of software for microcontrollers;
  • experience working with industrial automation equipment, Modbus protocol;
  • understanding the features of computer operation in a broad sense (OS device, bootloaders, network protocols, etc.).

Legal purchase terms

  • These terms of sale are developed based on the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Consumer Protection," and other regulatory acts. These rules regulate the procedure for retail purchase and sale of goods through the online store, being a public offer addressed to individuals and legal entities ("Buyers").
  • The Buyer accepts the terms and conditions set out in these terms and conditions by placing an Order on the online store's website. An order is considered properly executed if the Buyer provides the Seller with the following information:

    • Delivery is without demonstration of the product
    • If the Buyer disagrees with the delivery terms, they may cancel the order at any time before receiving it
    • Delivery costs are charged in case of refusal of the product
    • The Buyer must check the product packaging for damages upon receipt
  • Payment for ordered Products can be made:
    • By bank transfer based on the invoice issued to the Buyer
    • By credit card via a payment link generated for the Buyer
  • Orders are processed on working days from 10:00 to 18:00 Astana time. Orders placed after 18:00 will be processed the next business day.
  • Products of good quality can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they have not been used. For returns:
    • The Buyer must email a return request to the Seller's support
    • The refund excludes delivery costs
    • Refunds are processed within 10 days of claim submission
  • The warranty period for the Product is 24 months from the date of shipment.
  • The risk of accidental loss or damage passes to the Buyer at the time of transfer, as confirmed by the Buyer's signature on the delivery documents. Ownership passes upon full payment.
  • The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan applies to relations between the Buyer and the Seller.
  • The Seller reserves the right to amend these terms. Changes will be posted on the website at least 7 days before their effective date.
  • The Buyer guarantees they understand and accept all terms unconditionally and in full.
  • All disputes will be resolved through negotiations. If no agreement is reached, disputes will be referred to the arbitration court of Astana.
