Three-channel gateway with an RS-485 interface for controlling devices via the DALI-2 (IEC 62386) protocol using Wiren Board controllers.
Enables integration of modern lighting systems (LED drivers, sensors, switches, ballasts) into industrial automation and smart home projects.
Main characteristics
- three independent DALI buses
- short circuit, overheating, and overvoltage protection;
- support for DALI-2 devices (LED drivers, ballasts, sensors, buttons);
- 7 discrete inputs for connecting buttons;
- recognition of 4 types of presses (short, long, double, short+long);
- isolated RS-485 interface;
- operating temperature range: from -40 to +60 °C;
- compact DIN-rail enclosure (3 modules).
Supports Fast Modbus ⚡, which allows instant delivery of input states and press counter values to the Wiren Board controller.

Technical specifications:
- 3 outputs for DALI buses
(DA1: 200 mA, DA2: 100 mA, DA3: 100 mA); - 7 discrete inputs (“dry contact”);
- output voltage: 19 V;
- group galvanic isolation of inputs;
- protection of each bus against short circuit, overheating, and overvoltage;
- supply voltage:
9…28 V DC,
230 V AC; - interface: RS-485, Modbus RTU.

All Wiren Board devices, in addition to standard Modbus RTU, can work with its extension Fast Modbus ⚡, which adds new capabilities:
- instant polling of input states and measured values via events;
- fast discovery of devices connected to the controller;
- resolution of address collisions on the bus.
For the user, enabling these additional features is seamless — if the device supports the extension, the controller driver will use Fast Modbus; if not, it will operate via standard Modbus RTU.

All Wiren Board devices are developed and manufactured in-house. Each unit undergoes multi-stage quality control:
- during development — verification of components against specifications and stress testing of prototypes;
- after SMD assembly — automated optical inspection;
- after through-hole soldering — visual inspection of solder joints;
- after final assembly — functional testing on automated test benches;
- before shipment — inspection of completeness, labeling, and appearance.
Thanks to this approach, the failure rate does not exceed 0.5% of all produced devices. Read more in the article About device reliability .
If a device fails within two years from the date of purchase, we will replace it free of charge without requiring it to be sent to a service center.

In the Wiren Board controller web interface, you can:
- enable the internal power supply for each DALI bus;
- define button behavior and input event reactions;
- control DALI devices: assign addresses, groups, and scenes;
- configure the brightness control curve (linear / DALI standard);
- run device identification (lamp blinking);
- view bus status and diagnostics.
