Three-and six-channel relay modules of the WB-MR3xV and WB-MR6xV series are designed for industrial and home automation systems. Modules, depending on the type, are designed for commutation of general-purpose power load, including inductive and capacitive: control of LED lamps, incandescent lamps, switching power supplies, etc.
The modules are designed for a load of 16A (nominal 10A) and can be used without intermediate contactors. The module has an input that simultaneously disconnects the entire load.
Models
The WB-MR3xV series features three-channel models, and the WB-MR6xV series features six-channel models, with different input types (dry contact and 230V AC), models to control different loads.

Outputs
Depending on the module modification, different relay models are used. The table below lists the relay models, their specifications and application conditions. The maximum DC voltage that all relays of the module can switch is 30 V. Each relay contact is protected from arcing when closed/opened by a varistor connected to the common contact "C". Depending on the Modbus register settings, the input status may resume after a power interruption (see #relay operation mode in case of power failure).

Outputs
The inputs of the WB-MR3xV and WB-MR6xV modules are connected to screw terminals. Depending on the model, the modules have discrete inputs of different types. In LV modification inputs are organized on the principle of "dry contact". Buttons or switches are connected between the corresponding input of the Inputs unit and the GND. In the HV modification, the inputs determine the presence of a connected phase of the 220 V AC network. Input voltage: 90V — 250V AC. External buttons and switches are connected between the corresponding input of the Inputs unit and the phase. The 230V neutral (N) is connected to the terminal "N" of the module.

Installation of WB-MR3xV and WB-MR6xV modules
The relay module is mounted on a standard 35 mm wide DIN rail and occupies a width of 3/6 DIN modules.
The screwless terminal blocks on the relay Board are used to connect power lines, control (RS-485) and input contacts. When used with the mounting lugs of the type NSVI to install wires into screwless terminals it is necessary that the diameter of the insulated cuff does not exceed 3.6 mm, wire size — 0.75 mm2, and the length of the conductive sleeve — 5-6 mm. Screw terminals accept wire cross-section 2,5—4 mm2. The cross section of the wire must correspond to the switched load.
It is important not to exceed the recommended current of 16 A, when connecting switched devices to the KX relay contacts.
The current flowing when a button or switch is shorted is small, so the type of button or switch can be anything. Despite the built-in anti-rattle protection, choose quality buttons and switches to avoid false positives due to bad contacts. Caution-in the HV modification, high voltage is present at the terminals!
If the device is the last on the RS-485 line, a 120 Ohm terminator resistor must be installed between its inputs A and B. Practice shows that in the case of bench tests with a small length of the RS-485 line and a small number of devices, the terminator on the last device in the line can not be installed.
The module must be installed in such a way as to meet electrical safety requirements and prevent accidental contact of contacts under high voltage. The module must be operated under recommended environmental conditions.
Relay operation mode in case of power failure
Depending on the value written to the storage register 0x06, after the power is turned off and restored, the relays will remain off (if the value is 0, or turn on those that were turned on before the power interruption if the register has a value of 1). This feature appeared in the modules with the firmware, starting with version 1.5.3.
