You will need a standard USB (A) — Micro-USB (B) cable to connect the console port to your PC. Please attach the USB (A) plug to the PC and the Micro-USB (B) to your Wirenboard controller. [[Файл:Debugusb58.png|250px|thumb|right|'''Debug USB''' socket]]

New Wirenboard controllers use USB-Serial CH340/CH341 serial-to-USB adapter. Linux should automatically detect these chips: see the output of the
dmesg
command after connection: the following line should appear in the end of the output:
usb 1-1: ch341-uart converter now attached to ttyUSB0
.

The number of the ttyUSB may vary upon the number of devices connected previously.

Windows users should install the driver for the integrated adapter chip. You can find it on the [http://www.winchiphead.com/download/CH341/CH341SER.ZIP official site] or somewhere else.

The connection setting are the same as for the old models: '''115200 8N1''' (115200 kbit/s, 8 data bits, no parity bit, one stop bit). You can find the serial port number in the Windows Device Manager.
