1. Secure the SMA socket with nuts in the hole of the case above the Ethernet ports. Note that there is a flat on the SMA connector and on the case hole that guides the connector and prevents it from twisting. For cases up to version Wiren Board 6.5, you need to drill the hole yourself, with a diameter of 6.5 mm.
2. Reassemble the body. Keep an eye on the connecting cable from the module to the SMA socket: it must not be pinched, strongly bent, or get between the indicator and the light guide on the top cover.
3. Screw the external antenna onto the SMA socket.
4. When mounting in a metal shield, position the antenna outside for reliable radio communication.
